Alumina ceramics, predominantly composed of alumina (Al2O3), are essential for thick film integrated circuits. Renowned for their excellent conductivity, mechanical strength, and high-temperature resistance, they require ultrasonic cleaning. Alumina ceramics are versatile, meeting both everyday and specialized performance needs, and are indispensable in modern society.

Alumina ceramics are classified into two distinct categories: High Purity Type and Normal Type.
High-Purity Alumina Ceramics: Featuring an Al2O3 content of 99.9% or higher, these ceramics withstand sintering temperatures of 1650-1990°C and have a transmission wavelength of 1 to 6 μm. Often used as a substitute for platinum crucibles in molten glass applications, they also serve as sodium lamps due to their resistance to acidic and alkaline metal corrosion. In the electronics industry, they function as integrated circuit substrates and high-frequency insulation materials.
Ordinary Alumina Ceramics: Categorized into 99 porcelain, 95 porcelain, 90 porcelain, 85 porcelain, and more based on Al2O3 content, which can sometimes be as low as 75%. 99 alumina ceramic materials are ideal for high-temperature crucibles and refractory furnace tubes, as well as wear-resistant items like ceramic bearings and seals. 95 alumina ceramics are favored for corrosion and wear-resistant parts. With added talc, they enhance electrical properties and mechanical strength, allowing sealing with metals such as molybdenum, niobium, and tantalum, and are often used in electric vacuum devices.
